About Black Feather Yoga

Black Feather Yoga classes empower students to understand their bodies, using science-based cuing so that you leave understanding the biomechanics behind what works best for your unique body.

The name Black Feather Yoga came from founder Kate Forman's favorite yoga pose - bakasana - crow pose. This pose is not only challenging from a strength and flexibility perspective, but it also challenges your mind - bringing up any fears that you may have, forcing you to face your fears and conquer something that you may have started off thinking you couldn't do.

Yoga is not just a physical practice, but an opportunity to learn about the Self, and take those teachings into the world around us. You will get a challenging but accessible vinyasa flow class with all of our classes, walking away feeling empowered, welcomed, accomplished, and knowledgable.
